How do I book a 'Your 4 Court' on the OAC Members Mobile App?

If you’d like to book a "Your 4 Court" on the mobile app, please follow these steps: Click the "Explore" icon at the bottom of the home page. Select the "Reservation" icon. Choose your preferred date and duration for the court booking. Click "Advanced Options" at the bottom and select "Pickleball" Click "Apply" at the top right. Click "Search" to see all available court times. Please note that reservations open 7 days in advance, and the earliest reservation is available at 9:30 AM for full Governors members. There are 4 courts available for booking, with a 90-minute duration from 9:30–11 AM.

How do I register for 'Round Robins/Open Play, Beginner & Intermediate Clinics on the OAC Members App?

To reserve a spot for a Round Robin Open Play, Beginner Clinic, or Intermediate Clinic, follow these instructions: Click the "Schedule" icon at the bottom of the home page. Under the "Category" filter, select "Pickleball." Choose the date you're interested in (see schedule above). The app will display all available Pickleball programming for you to join. To register, click on the Round Robin Open Play or clinic of your choice, then select "Sign up."

What is the Open Play Format?

A relaxed, social format that allows players to just sign up, show up and play pickleball without having to worry about organizing a group of 4 people to play with. Players generally play on certain courts based on their ability and skill level which ensures an environment that is safe and competitive for everyone playing. Players simply place their paddles in the bin and players take to the court in the order they come up. Open play is very important to the growth and development of the pickleball program at Oxford Athletic Club. It is designed to help bridge gaps between skill levels. It creates an out-of-ordinary type of fun play that encourages new members to feel welcome! Open Play is a great way to start if you are new or want to play with different people. Join us as we all enhance our skills, practice, mentor, and meet other players.

What is the Your 4 Format?

A Your 4 allows you to arrange your own group and stay together for the whole 2 hours. This type of arrangement allows you to practice drills, play singles or play with 3 other people. One person from the group reserves the court. To provide an opportunity for all members to reserve a Your 4 Court, we ask that you only book 1 Your 4 Court per day. You can reserve a Your 4 court for a maximum of 2 hours per day.

Our pickleball Schedule

New players must complete at least three (3) Beginners Clinics before they are eligible to join Open Play matches. Register for clinics on the OAC mobile app. Members must have pickleball added to their account ($20/mo) or pay the drop-in fee ($10) each time you play. Matinee membership holders are only permitted to play from 11 AM- 3 PM. All members are permitted up to two (2) hours of court time per day.

*To join Open Play and learn the basics about scorekeeping, strategy, and court positioning, new players must complete at least three Beginner Clinics. Registration on the OAC mobile app is required. Clinic cost is $25/clinic.
