Oxford’s R.I.S.E. Active Aging Program is designed to help adults build strength, improve mobility and balance, maintain independence, and stay connected to an active community.

Whether you’re beginning a new wellness journey or already lead an active lifestyle, R.I.S.E. offers a welcoming environment with programming for various fitness levels and abilities.

R.I.S.E. Class Schedule

Active aging is about more than exercise—it’s about having the strength, confidence, and support to continue doing the things you love.

Through R.I.S.E., members have access to a variety of opportunities designed to support healthy aging, including instructor-led fitness classes, aquatic exercise, educational programs, and social experiences.

The R.I.S.E. Program is led by Melissa Petro, a dedicated fitness and wellness professional passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and build lasting healthy habits. As a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, Functional Aging Specialist, Master Certified Health Coach, and Peak Pilates Certified Instructor, Melissa brings an individualized approach to functional movement and healthy aging. She creates a supportive environment where participants can build strength, confidence, mobility, and independence while thriving in everyday life.

T.O.P. Boxing

Tough on Parkinson's

Our T.O.P. (Tough on Parkinson’s) Boxing Program is designed for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. Through boxing-inspired movements and functional exercise, participants can work on strength, balance, coordination, agility, cardiovascular fitness, and mobility while building confidence in a supportive community.

Class Schedule:

  • Tuesday & Thursdays
  • 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Program Details:

  • Designed for individuals with Parkinson’s disease
  • $100/month program fee
  • Membership included on T.O.P. Boxing program days only
  • Club access available on scheduled class days
  • Program continuation based on participation
